The National Ski Jumping Center "Snow Ruyi" is located in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. It is the first ski jumping venue in China and one of the main competition venues for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. The main construction is inspired by the traditional Chinese ornament Ruyi, hence the name Snow Ruyi.

The National Ski Jumping Center is designed with two tracks, i.e. a big ski jump track with a drop of 136.2 meters and a standard ski jump track with a drop of 114.7 meters. It is the largest and most technically difficult project of the Olympic competition venues in Zhangjiakou, and a landmark construction project that 3TREES participated in the preparatory stage of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

In order to overcome the difficulties in construction and realize the vision of green Olympics, the idea of sustainable development is honored in every aspect of the “Snow Ruyi” project. Not only is the venue built on the back of a mountain, with river water diverted to provide water source for snow, and the whole construction merged into green vegetation, but the wall painting of the venue is also given much attention.

On February 4, the one-year countdown to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, an expert of the 3TREES project was invited to CCTV’s special program for the "Winter Olympics" via video link to introduce the details of the green coating project of "Snow Ruyi" to the public.
